Joni Ernst?

There are rumors that Joni Ernst is on Trump’s VP list.

Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst is among the candidates being considered to become Donald Trump’s running mate, a source with knowledge of Trump’s vice presidential selection process tells CNN. Another source close to the process confirmed the information.

It’s not clear whether the freshman Republican senator and tea party star has received paperwork from the campaign or is just being scrutinized through the wealth of publicly accessible information about her.

That rumor I can believe. Joni voted in favor of medical cannabis in Iowa. Although it was only for cannabis oil.

I do not think Trump can afford an anti-cannabis VP. There are all those disaffected Bernie voters who need attracting.

I still think Rand Paul should be in consideration. The Libertarian Party is polling 8%. That was what got Palin the nod in ’08. I voted for Palin in ’08.
