Mr. Gowdy is supposedly Mr. Trump’s choice for Attorney General if he gets elected.
In a Tuesday tweet, Trump said that he would pick South Carolina representative and chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi Trey Gowdy as his attorney general, were he to be elected president.
Hmmm. The DEA and Benghazi. Excellent. BTW I have looked for Mr. Gowdy’s position on Prohibition. So far he doesn’t seem to have one.
Perhaps Mr. Gowdy will be what we call in American politics an “honest crook”. Which is to say he stays bought.
