Sick children in Washington denied specialty treatment due to Obamacare.
“Administrators at Seattle Children’s today said they predicted this would happen, and it’s even worse than they expected,” KING-5 said.
According to KING, those being denied services are covered by insurance providers on the Washington state health benefits exchange.
The hospital filed request on behalf of 125 patients, receiving only 20 responses. Eight of those, KING added, were denials.
Dr. Sandy Melzer said this comes after reassurances certain unique specialty cases would still be covered.
It goes on to say at the link:
“If you like your severe medical condition, you can keep it,” the blog said. “He’s doing it for the children. Seriously, if this were a GOP policy failure a story like this would be leading newscasts across the country for days.”
Obama frequently said that no one with pre-existing conditions would be denied coverage.
“Health insurance plans can’t refuse to cover you or charge you more just because you have a pre-existing health condition,” Healthcare.gov says. “Being sick won’t keep you from getting health coverage. An insurance company can’t turn you down or charge you more because of your condition.”
The site also claims this is true “even if you have been turned down or refused coverage due to a pre-existing condition in the past.”
I wonder why Obama hasn’t written an executive order to fix this. He has the power. So he claims.

Which party is blocking changes in obama care so these children suffer huh? Republicans like to hurt and kill people in my state many poor people were kicked off access(we are only state that doesn’t have medicade!) and died! They were told if you need an exspensive operation arizona is not paying for it! That money is needed for tax breaks for the rich. Some years ago a republican legislator was asked why arizona was the only state without medicade said those people don’t vote republican let um move to california and vote their! When asked what about poor sick children he said same problem they would grow up and vote democrat!
Ah. Yes. The wreckers.
But these folks HAD working insurance before Obamacare. I guess you blame that on the Republicans.
CapAss is apparently ignorant, or is purposely ignoring the fact that Arizona is expanding Medicaid under Obamacare.

The last time I checked, Jan Brewer was still a Republican.
“He has the power. So he claims.”
He has the power to do what he says he has the power to do, but he does not have the power to do what he says he does not have the power to do.
Very simple logic. Lewis Carroll couldn’t have done much better.
