Long story about that Steve. The 50 gallon tank is inhabited by three creatures in a years-old uneasy alliance which is finally working itself out. The Alpha fish is a large, cantankerous albino Oscar who rules over a large Clown Loach and a gigantic but shiftless albino Algae Eater. The latter refuses to do what he is supposed to, and if I go the razor blade route and scrape the tank, the Oscar goes into a huge sulk and refuses to eat. So I let it grow! If you knew these guys, you would understand.
