This is very flattering to men but shows a lack of knowledge of history, anthropology and current events. Sex selective abortions are overwhelming of girls; classical infanticide was more likely to be of girls; women are killed in dowery disputes in India even now. This does not mean, or even imply that men don’t have a hard time in life, but bolsters the teen saying that one does’t get out of life alive.
The problem isn’t women or men but people.
