Has anyone (besides me) noticed a parallel between the politics of the 1930s and what we seem to be going through these days?

I think some Donk stole my car keys at the bar the other night. I was a bit too exuberant in my celebratory remarks. Consistent to the end, those Donks. Entitled to everything.
You might want to investigate Peter Turchin, who also discusses cycles. Though when I once investigated him, I didn’t agree with how he labeled the Great Depression.
