Has Anyone Noticed?

Has anyone (besides me) noticed a parallel between the politics of the 1930s and what we seem to be going through these days?

I attribute it to being at the bottom of a Kondratieff cycle. I wrote about the economics of it in The INs vs The OUTs.

Or 1846. Or the Paris Commune. 1968. etc. The left periodically drives itself completely insane.

These are the happiest days of my life. Bar none! Mercy I can’t hold it in.

I think some Donk stole my car keys at the bar the other night. I was a bit too exuberant in my celebratory remarks. Consistent to the end, those Donks. Entitled to everything.

You might want to investigate Peter Turchin, who also discusses cycles. Though when I once investigated him, I didn’t agree with how he labeled the Great Depression.
