The video covers a Big Republican failing in the last election. Way too many Republicans believe Prohibition can work. Fortunately with the Refer Madness folks dying off, that is changing.
Funny enough Republicans can’t do good economic analysis when it comes to Prohibition and Democrats can’t do a good economic analysis for anything else.
The Soros video above gets the economics of Prohibition correct. Too bad the lefties can’t apply that thinking to anything else.

Back when National Review was worth reading they were anti drug prohibition.

The problem with waiting for the old farts to die off is some of the middle aged farts like Jonah Goldberg, Rich Lowry and Ramesh Ponnuru are worse. People like William F. Buckley and Milton Friedman were against the drug war and prohibition. How many writing at the constipated cadaver of the magazine would say that now?
@MMM
It’s a different magazine since Buckley left. NRO used to be libertarian-leaning – now it’s flat RINO.
I like that “constipated cadaver”. Too true.
National Review?
More like Conventional Wisdom.

Funny enough Buckley was ahead of his time. The current crew are behind the times.
When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn…
