Daniel Hopsicker has a few words about Donald Trump. They are not kind.
Donald Trump’s history with the Mob—beginning with early business partners in Atlantic City who were ‘dese dem & dose’ guys with crooked noses who knew where Jimmy Hoffa was really buried — is a virtual travelogue through 30 years of ever-more sophisticated organized crime.
But Daniel Hopsicker is a conspiracy theory nut, so some people tell me. What does the Washington Post say?
Trump swam in mob-infested waters in early years as an NYC developer
==
But there is `another aspect to his success that he doesn’t often discuss. Throughout his early career, Trump routinely gave large campaign contributions to politicians who held sway over his projects, and he worked with mob-controlled companies and unions to build them.

“I was a businessman. I give to everybody. When they call, I give. And you know what? When I need something from them, two years later, three years later, I call them. They are there for me,” he said. “And that’s a broken system.”
So Trump is mobbed up. That is no surprise. A builder in NY City. Casinos in New Jersey. What would you expect? And don’t forget he buys the politicians he needs.
Daniel’s piece finishes with:
Later, when just a few a years after it opened, Harrah’s Trump Plaza became “Trump Plaza Casino and Hotel,” and Trump purchases the nearby Hilton Hotel and Casino because the chain is denied a casino license… the question arises: Where can an ambitious young man go to get a deal like that? Where indeed?
“If you have to ask,” goes the short answer, “you probably don’t qualify.”
You should read Daniel’s whole thing.
My take on the election given these revelations about Donald Trump? We have a difference in agreement inside the oligarchy and the Saudis are going out of favor. Will we get honest government if we get a regime change? Are you kidding me? What we will get is a different set of crooks. Well I do not care for the current set and their desire to import Islam to America.

No thanks, I’ll give a miss to reading the whole thing. There are quite enough hit-pieces out on Donald Trump, paid for by the Usual Suspects I suspect.
It is amazing how much crap can be thrown at the one guy who isn’t part of the system, isn’t it!
These are problems for Trump why?

And knowing Trump’s connections helps you figure how he might govern. Not wanting to know is foolish.
MMM,
Better American crooks controlling Trump than Saudi crooks. So I’m with you.

I, too.
I’m not so sure which way the control goes in this case. Anyone attempting to succeed in the markets Trump operates in will be dealing with all sorts of scum on all sides of the “law”. Politics and organized crime are pretty much the same thing. Looks like he’s accomplished at it.

Does it matter? At this point, our choice is between Hillary and Trump. That’s all the information you really need. Details like how he dealt with the Mob are insignificant compared to that.
