Clinton Ties To The 9/11 Saudis

I have written about the Clintons ties to the Saudis. There seems to be a few more than I had noted earlier.

As Governor of Arkansas, Mr. Clinton worked hard to secure a multimillion-dollar Saudi donation to a Middle Eastern studies program at the University of Arkansas, said Bernard Madison, the dean of the university’s Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.

Then there are the donors to the Clinton slush fund. Er “Foundation”.

The governments of Kuwait and Qatar are also on the list, as is Saudi businessman Nasser Al-Rashid, who has close ties to the Saudi royal family. Saudi Sheikh Mohammed H. Al-Amoudi, reputed to be one of the richest men in the world, is among the donors as well. Both Saudis contributed in the $1 million to $5 million range. A group called Friends of Saudi Arabia and the Dubai Foundation appear in the same category.

There is the curious case of the brother of Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager John Podesta. John has been a fixture in Clinton circles for a long time. The Saudi Arabian government is paying $140,000 a month to lobbying firm The Podesta Group.

Anthony Podesta is one of the several lobbyists at his firm personally handling the Saudi account.

And then there is this statement made in 1995 by William Colby, a former CIA Director. “The Latin American drug cartels have stretched their tentacles much deeper into our lives than most people believe. It’s possible they are calling the shots at all levels of government.” So it is not just “black gold” money from the Saudis. There may have been even darker dealings. Hinted at by Hillary when she said, “There is too much money in it.”

And another curious connection: Hillary’s Big Money Donor Who Moonlights As A Lawyer For Mexican Drug Cartels. And there is also Hillary’s tenure as Secretary of State. During that time she had a role in the Mexican Drug War.

…the middle years of Clinton’s tenure at State — U.S. embassy cables boasted that intelligence and military cooperation between the two countries had never been better. Such cables, and the full archival orbit of declassified and leaked U.S. and Mexican records, demonstrate that Clinton’s State Department repeatedly cleared the delivery of U.S. assistance training and equipment to security forces implicated in corruption or abuse.

One document from June 2011 recorded a visit of U.S. officials to the northern state of Tamaulipas in May 2011 to assess training needs for state security forces. The visit came as Mexico’s federal authorities were trying to cover up the discovery of mass graves from the recent San Fernando massacres in the region. Even as U.S. officials were reporting on the Mexican government’s complicity and cover-up of the massacres, the U.S. embassy recommended further training for Tamaulipas security forces.
