The counting has begun. I’ll update this as results come in.
Update: 20 April 2016 0145z
I’m watching the live updates on 538.com. They have Trump with 81% of the vote in the 11th district with 85% counted. That is one.
Update: 20 April 2016 0149z
Trump is showing 84% of the vote with about 32% counted. So far he has 77 of the 95 NY delegates.

Raw Story had this:
“It was just a great honor and I think it’s a great honor for New York,” Trump said after voting in a synagogue, reiterating his campaign slogan. “We’re going to make America great again.”

Tonight, his words were, as they say in the business that Trump claims to disdain (politics), “on message.”
“Senator Cruz is just about mathematically eliminated,” he said.
“We’ve won close to 300 more delegates than Senator Cruz.”
“It’s really nice to win the delegates with the votes. It’s really nice.”
“It’s a crooked system, the system is rigged.”

Lame Cherry has a few words:
Societal destruction by the heinous fiddlers is a rare thing. We have hosts of Neros named Merkel, Cameron, Cruz and Clinton, just warming up their bows. The world has not had a good inferno since…well the Americans lit up Dresden, Hamburg, Tokyo and Nagasaki. It is about time that the aficionados of reality tv get a bit more than fag singers and fat ass mascara whores.
Either by God’s Grace Donald Trump obtains victory, or we have all of this to look forward to. Do not be dismayed as it might be the grandest of adventures in rummaging around all these dead people’s homes in survivor take all. Better than a second hand shop, if you do not mind the stench.

Hot Gas has this from Mark Levin.

WE’LL SHOW THESE AGRARIAN TRUMPERS WHO ARE SO STUPID THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO GAME THE RUUUUUUULES LIKE A LIFELONG GOVERNMENT-LAWYER OUTSIDER!!! I’LL BE RIGHT BACK!!!
That is obviously satire. Isn’t it?

From 538.com (link above)
To my eye, there are only seven congressional districts where Trump appears in jeopardy of falling below 50 percent: the 7th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 20th, 21st, and 24th. It looks like he will definitely fall below 50 percent in the 10th and 12th. All others look clear. If that holds, Trump will claim between 88 and 93 of New York’s 95 delegates tonight.
Update: 20 April 2016 0230z
From 538.com (link above)
With about 55% of the State counted Trump has about 60% of the vote. Since Ted is unable to steal delegates in NY he has so far gained none. That is zero out of 95 where the people’s votes count.
Update: 20 April 2016 0243z
From 538.com (link above)
With 68% of the State counted Trump has 91 delegates. Ted Cruz has Zero. Nada. Zilch. 0

If you need something to read while waiting for the next update may I suggest a visit to the Daily Pundit election night coverage.
Update: 20 April 2016 0330z
The New York Times with 94% of the precincts reporting has Trump with 89 delegates and Kasich with 3. That means there are still 3 unaccounted for.
Update: 20 April 2016 0345z
From 538.com (link above)
With 91% of the vote in 538 gives Trump 90 delegates and Kasich 5.
Update: 20 April 2016 0405z
With the last 5% of the vote in NY slow to come in, I’m winding up live blogging. I’ll report the full results in the morning. We now return you to our regularly unscheduled blogging.

It’s been 32 years since New York went for a Republican in a presidential election. Considering that more than twice as many Democrats voted in the primary than Republicans, it’s a sure bet that Hillary will get those 29 electoral votes.
CR,
So who did the independents go for in the primary?
Oh? They didn’t get to vote? Well it was a closed primary – nothing wrong with that.
