Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus tells voters today, “It is not your Party.” Sentiment seems to be: Reince, “It is not your vote.”
Why does this country seem to have a France 1790 feel to it? A “Let them eat cake” attitude from our betters. Or in modern vernacular, “You will take what we give you and be grateful for it.”
Here are Reince’s exact words.
“By the way, this is a nomination for the Republican Party,” Priebus told 620 WTMJ in Wisconsin. “If you don’t like the party, then sit down. The party is choosing a nominee.”
Well Reince, the voters are your customers. Generally, businesses try to make their customers happy. Otherwise the customers may support some other organization. Government is no ordinary business, obviously. They have the guns to force people’s support. Until, they can’t. Lets not go that far. OK?
