Clinton e-mails Searchable Database

WikiLeaks has a searchable database of Hillary Clinton e-mails that were recently released.

I tried the site. When I entered the search term – State Department NSA – the gateway timed out. A 504 Error. I’m going to try again. I’ll update when I get a reply from the database.

I just tried again and got a list of e-mails. I clicked on one and the text came up. This is going to get interesting.

Some back story on why Clinton set up her own server.

The department’s designated NSA liaison, whose name was redacted from the documents, expressed concerns about security vulnerabilities inherent with using Blackberry devices for secure communications or in secure areas. However, the specific reasons Clinton’s requests were rebuffed are being kept secret by the State Department.

The following month, in March 2009, Clinton began using private email accounts accessed through her Blackberry to exchange messages with her top aides. The State Department has thus far released more than 52,000 pages of Clinton’s work-related emails, a small percentage of which have been withheld because they contain information considered sensitive to national security.

In recent months, Clinton has said her home-based email setup was a mistake, but that she never sent or received anything that was marked classified at the time.

There are rumors that the NSA is none too happy about Mrs Clinton’s breach of security. The FBI predicts Espionage Act charges.

    From the linked Beacon article:

“[The FBI] may not recommend felonies, as a courtesy to a woman who was the first lady for eight years, a senator and the secretary of state,” diGenova said. “They may as a courtesy try to do what they did with General Petraeus, and recommend misdemeanors. But make no mistake, they are going to recommend that she and others be charged with crimes.”

I think at most misdemeanor charges will shave a point or two off her 8 Nov. popular vote total. It might be enough though to put Trump over the top in the Electoral College.
