Well, this is interesting. Cruz has gone from consistently running 4-6% to suddenly taking the lead at 25% in the nation’s most populous state.
California doesn’t vote until June, so the primary may be over by then, but either way a primary candidate taking CA and TX would be hard to beat.
It’s possible Cruz is peaking too soon, but if this momentum continues broadly into the next couple months this may be a short GOP nomination process.

cruz was born in kenya. no wait that is obama!
California has a near majority of Hispanics. Of course, Cruz, a white Cuban, is supposed to be despised by the “real” Hispanics, the Mexican Indios and mestizos.
The fat lady will sing in Iowa in 3 weeks when Trump wins. It’s already over. I can’t prove it but believe Trump and Cruz made a deal at the starting gate.
The lower the score the better, IMHO. Europe needs a decade or two of tough love to get their head on straight. Let’s stay the hell out of their and their close neighbors’ affairs.
bob most of cruz supporters in california are white evangelicals not hispanics. arnold got some hispanic votes in recall and in 2006 but that was before republicans rewarded hispanics for electing bush in 2004 when kerry and dems were ambivalent on immigration(they will never do that again!) by coming out with anti-immigration legislation. bob you should be smart enough to know this. I am not an elite liberal who thinks conservatives are stupid as well as evil. I just think your smart as me and my edge is that you are evil and self destructive. nixon was not stupid just evil and self destructive.
I lived in a half-Hispanic neighborhood for a number of years. (The other half was a mixture of white/black and Asian.)
I assure you that Mexicans and Cubans are not friendly. (And it has nothing to do with Indios – most of the Mexicans in my neighborhood were Mestizos – and a few were as European-looking than I am – and I’m Scots/Irish.)
