Yeah. I know. But still. Sometimes they have absolute comedy gold.

This was workplace violence, plain and simple. What married couple with a newborn DOESN’T build pipe bombs in their garage in anticipation of a workplace tiff?

    “Honey, how was your day?”

“Inspected a Mexican restaurant. It was pretty clean, actually. How ’bout you?”

“Got a pipe bomb done, all except for the remote. Tonight, lets pop over to Toys ‘R Us and pick up another remote control car. That’ll get it going.”

“I love you honey. After a a long, hard day of inspecting restaurant kitchens, it’s nice to come home to a hard-working gal with a penchant for bomb making. Your’e the best!”

Recently uncovered video showing Farook in his office just before the shooting, @ 0:22. Obviously, this had nothing to do with the Religion of Piece™ and everything to do with evil racists discriminating against Syed and his lovely and talented wife Tashfeen. Haven’t they suffered enough?

islam is NOT a liberal religion. many liberals support islam as many on the left supported stalin. the enemy of my enemy is not always my friend. I have no objection to bombing mecca and leveling the mosque on the temple mount. polls taken in the muslim world show they are not liberal. as for american muslims look how they treat their fellow jewish students in collage. I am with bill maher on this one. I agree most american muslims only behave themselves because they have to. I think in time this will change especially in mecca is a smoking hole in the ground!

Do you hold any moderate positions, arizona, or are you consistently politically bipolar?

    Wow! Just…wow!

I’m thinking the conversion of the America First Committee after 7 Dec 1941. At that level.

    Wow!

Then there was the response of those who chanted “don’t get America involved in Europe’s war” who changed their opinions after after June 22,1941. Such as Dalton Trumbo and Pete Seeger.

I am also amazed at captain*arizona’s response.

Every once in a while, I understand (and agree with) where the Captain is coming from.

And, quite frankly, that scares the **** out of me.

I for one believe we should thoroughly vet these moslem immigrants. The veting should include a full check up, all their shots and spaying or neutering as appropriate.

A bacon grease fuel-air explosive should be sufficient.

I wonder if captain*arizona wrote that as a devil’s advocate. There is the possibility that he didn’t believe what he wrote, but wrote it to get a reaction from the wingnuts.

Consider the response of Christian fundamentalists and Islam to the issue of apostates- those who leave the religion. Islam- apostates should be killed.

As one of my grandmothers was a member of the Church of Christ, which most consider to be a fundamentalist church, I have some experience with how Christian fundamentalists treat apostasy. My grandmother was upset that all of her children left her church, and that none of her grandchildren joined her church. At the same time, she maintained loving relationships with her apostate children and grandchildren until she died. Yes, she would have been very happy if any had joined or rejoined her church, and she did at times try to convert us. But when my father told my grandmother to “stifle it,” she stopped the conversion attempts. Loving relationships were more important to my grandmother than church membership.

Based on my experience, anyone who equates Islam with Christian fundamentalism is an ignoramus.
