It is gloomy, dark, dank, cold, and clammy. But this cartoon always cheers me up.
A pair of toy robot dogs I bought for a buck a piece at a recent garage sale needed no cheering up. All I had to do to make them come to life was to put batteries in them. They actually sing and dance together.
Fortunately or unfortunately for me, there weren’t toys like that when I was a kid.

I grew up in an area with a lot of foggy days, especially from November- April. I rather liked them if I was walking around in them- not if I was driving in them.
Wasn’t the scene in the Charles Addams cartoon also in Atlas Shrugged?
