I’m a bit horrified to see a total political hack like former DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe poised to win election to the United States Senate Virginia Governorship, but I guess that’s just the way things have to be.
Hillary is stumping for McAuliffe, and his (her) opponent Cuccinelli seems to be doing his level best to out-stump himself.
Ken Cuccinelli thinks his best hope for a comeback in the final three weeks of a Virginia governor’s race that has drifted away from him is to focus on driving up conservative turnout.
So a few hours after Hillary Clinton stumps for Democrat Terry McAuliffe Saturday in Northern Virginia, the Republican will campaign with Mike Huckabee next to Liberty University in the conservative stronghold of Lynchburg.

You said United States Senate but you should have said Governor of Virginia.
Hey thanks! I would probably not have noticed the error had someone not pointed it out.
In any event, I share your sentiments. Not much to admire in McAuliffe, and Cuccinelli really damages himself with focus on social issues.
I came back to this to say, since your focus was on McAuliffe, that I just pulled my copy of Fortune from the mail and it made me wonder why, if we are going to have a woman in the race for POTUS, it can’t be someone who has actually accomplished something.
Because women who’ve accomplished anything are Republicans and so, must be demonized.
Dem pols are career pols anymore.
Of course, the GOP are going that route too anymore.
We have a permanent political class who know nothing but being politicians.
It’s kind of depressing.
[…] even considered voting for McAuliffe in my wildest dreams, but I would have had trouble voting for Cuccinelli because of his support for sodomy laws. I am sure I am not alone. It’s a shame, […]
