A dental hygienist named Miriam Carey was shot dead after attempting to ram the barricades outside the White House.
Here’s what we know about Miriam Carey, the woman identified in news reports as the suspect in a shooting incident that left Capitol Hill on lockdown for a brief period Thursday afternoon, and has now reportedly been shot dead by police.
Carey, a 34-year-old dental hygenist has been identified by the New York Post and the New Haven Register newspaper as the suspect in a shooting incident that took place in the nation’s capital. Here’s what we know about Carey so far.
A law enforcement source told the Register that Carey is the suspect who was reportedly shot dead by Capitol Police following a high-speed car chase that began when she allegedly rammed her black Infiniti luxury sedan into a barricade near the White House.
No explanation of why she would have done this, but she appears to have been another mentally ill person who used a means other than a gun after she went bonkers.

I’m glad they aren’t taking chances. People who are told to stop should stop, especially in sensitive areas.
But imagine the outcry if when Bush was president, an unarmed woman with a baby in her car had been shot to death after trying to crash the gates to White House.

Did you watch the Fox News video of her attempt to ram the barricades? Not a scratch on the front of her Infinity. Her windows were rolled up with no sign of a gun. With multiple weapons aimed at her it appears she panicked, backed into a patrol car, and tried to get away, not unlike the behavior seen on multiple Cops programs. She then drove away, initially at an elevated but not high speed, going round the roundabout, and then headed down the street with a few cop cars in pursuit.
She was then forced off the street and collided, by most reports, with a small portable type police outpost. It was at this point that she was executed.
We live in a police state where the cops are judge, jury, and executioner, where they murder innocent until proven guilty, and unarmed traffic violators.
The police have become Storm Troopers, little more than henchmen for Der Fuehrer. Seig Heil motherfuckers.
Assume she was trying to get through the barricades, unarmed and with a baby in the back seat. Her only mistake then was that she didn’t have a couple of congressmen at her side to help remove the blockade and lecture the DC goons for her. And she was the wrong color. And it couldn’t be used for political advantage. Other than that, she deserved getting whacked. Right?
She was forced off the street by police cars who steered her into the barricade. As she was driving off they fired at her. No wonder she kept going, trying to save herself and the baby.

It’s plausible that this is more like the girl a few months ago who nearly got killed by Virginia state liquor control agents while buying bottled water, and less like suicide by cop.
remember the picture of the black children running out of the burning house as police bullets hit the ground around them during the police attack on the sla during the 1970’s somethings never change!
The cops might have seen she had a semi-auto AR-15 baby.
Seriously, a lot more attention needs to go into cops misbehaving and into the routine blood libel of whites and cops by black authority figures, like ministers. Black churches have some pretty racist conspiracies as a regular part of the service. I was poor and lived in and around poor blacks. You would not believe what is “common knowledge” in the community.
Mark Levin may want to reconsider his threat to bring 500,000 people to DC to storm the barricades.

When they exterminate an unarmed mental case instead of shooting out her tires, one can only imagine what fate would await half a million forcing their way onto public property. (Where’s MacArthur and Patton when you need them!)

I’ve seen that, too. Put together some amount of mental issues (although she was high-functioning enough to be a hygenist, so I think that’s mostly FUD for the press), plus some paranoia about racist cops, plus rules of engagement designed to combat suicide bombers, and you get yesterday’s outcome.
Whether the cops’ actions are justified or not, I see no overt indication of “suicide by cop”.
Frank, any cop would shoot a driver after that driver attempts to run over cops while getting away. Trying to shoot out the tires does nothing. It’s more dangerous to bystanders than shooting at the driver that just attempted to use a deadly weapon, car, on cops. Shooting at tires is guaranteed to have bullets ricochet off the pavement like skipping stones on a lake. A car with flat tires isn’t going to stop, just drive with flat tires.
Cops are notoriously poor marksmen in the heat of the moment. Once one cop fires, they all start firing.
Your average white guy is programmed to submit when cops have him surrounded. Too many black people are programmed to flee when surrounded by cops. That always turns out badly. Your ass will be beaten or shot. The investigation will be all the cops and some of the witnesses will be recorded and the cops will be exonerated if at all possible. Nobody but the cops are routinely at the scene and organized and locatable after the fact. It doesn’t have to be a conspiracy, but it can sure feel like one.

If this shooting was an isolated event you could pass it off as a FUBAR. Taken in the context of SWAT raids across the country, and trigger happy cops killing everyone from 90 year old senile rest home patients to innocent children, then no.
From the videos I saw, the cops put themselves recklessly in the way of a fleeing driver. After her car was wrecked, and disabled, they unloaded 15 rounds into an unarmed woman with a baby in the back seat.
And you are also right that those damning facts will be pushed aside in the investigation.
