Ambassador Stevens – killed in Benghazi – was rumored to be smuggling arms to the Muslim Brotherhood. Yahoo news now admits that some of the rockets raining on Israel came from Libya.
Just a few years ago, Palestinian rockets were limited to crude, homemade devices manufactured in Gaza. But in recent years, Hamas and other armed groups have smuggled in sophisticated, longer-range rockets from Iran and Libya, which has been flush with weapons since Moammar Gadhafi was ousted last year.
From American Thinker:
The nature of the Benghazi disaster is now clear. Ambassador Stevens was engaged in smuggling sizable quantities of Libyan arms from the destroyed Gaddafi regime to the Syrian rebels, to help overthrow the Assad regime in Syria. Smuggling arms to the so-called “Free Syrian Army” is itself a huge gamble, but Obama has been a gambler with human lives over the last four years, as shown by the tens of thousands of Arabs who have died in the so-called Arab Spring — which has brought nothing but disaster to the Arab world.
Well it looks like arms either went directly to Hamas or Syria was used as a cutout.
What a clever President we have. And my Republican friends? So hung up on social issues (more commonly referred to as the Culture War) that they couldn’t gather enough strength to beat him. Well. It looks like we will be getting another Mid-East War in return for our Republican friend’s Culture War failure. Between the Culture Warriors and the Communists, the average American doesn’t stand a chance. Thank you my Culture Warrior friends. Without you the Communists wouldn’t stand a chance. In fact I discussed that very issue in 2010. My take:
Fiscal conservatism without the social conservative trappings is the bigger tent. i.e. more likely to win elections.
But I’m willing to run the experiment again. Let the social conservatives start passing laws or continuing government caused disasters (putting the distribution of some drugs solely in the hands of criminals) and we shall see if they can keep winning elections.
I mean what the heck? Two, or four, or six, or eight years of communists in power would be worth it to find the outcome of the experiment. How bad could it hurt?
We are going to find out how bad it hurts. Thanks guys.

Please, by all means, keep hammering on Benghazi. You got a real winner there.
I love Am Thinker though. Clicked on the first link – predictably – about voter fraud and Obama stealing the election. Editorial mentioned that more ballots were cast than there were registered voters in some county in Florida. Of course, I decided to go to the local county supervisor’s website and low and behold – there was a simple explanation – the ballot was two pages, and hence the count of ballots was roughly double what it should have been.
If stupidity like that can get through the fact checkers there, then how much bullshit is there in this article? Well, apparently not as much as in the comments section – supposed military moms calling Obama a Muslim. Lol.
You want to learn about weapons smuggling? Go read about the Reagan Adminstration. THAT was a scandal. I love how the guy that’s getting us out of Iraq (no one remembers – zero Iraq military casualties in about a year – I wouldn’t expect you to are about that, no political value) and getting us out of Afghanistan, is the one playing with lives. Lol.
Please, proceed.
AJ,
I did write a piece for AT against Drug Prohibition. The editor does have a point of view. He is open to opposing opinions. Why not write something for them?
I know quite a bit about Iran Contra and the cocaine smuggling Ollie North was involved in. Blandon ring a bell? I was against what Reagan did. I’m against what Obama is doing. Consistency.
And you know. I don’t give a fig if what I write here has any influence. It is not why I write here. I just like having my say.
Why do you read here if you consider the writing ridiculous? There are lots of other blogs.
BTW did you read what General P had to say today?

BTW if you don’t like the focus of my writing why not start a blog and do your own thing.
I have decided that since you don’t like Benghazi I will be writing more about it. Thank you for helping give me direction.
The AJ – the ballot in Florida was FOUR pages long, not two. The St Lucy problem was that the SOE there counted 54 of 99 precincts twice and 42 of them not at all. She is currently in the hospital, suffering from some indeterminate malady.
It took at least a week to determine all the screwups and we are still not sure more “uncounted” ballots won’t appear – the Al Franken electoral method.
