While Veterans Day falls on November 11, the official holiday is today. Which means it isn’t too late to honor a veteran, or just thank one. I did so earlier, and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank M. Simon, who is a proud veteran.
And if you don’t know any veterans to thank, you could always watch a movie.

Had a friend who spent his tour moving bombs (nukes) fom ship to ship…and occasionally dropping them overboard. He swore it was never him who dropped one. (Yeah, they picked them back up.)
Then they’d hit a neutral port and party with the Russian sailors. I miss the Cold War…
