A New Game

Well I just learned something new about Black Youth Culture. They have a little game they like to play with whites and other non-Blacks. It is called The Knock Out Game. Well I’d never heard of that before. So what is it? Black Youth will go up to some unsuspecting white/non-black person and cold cock him and sometimes her. I wanted to post a video I linked in this comment, but YouTube pulled it as being too violent. It showed perfectly what the game was all about. You will have to watch this video which only has excerpts and shows neither the most violent part, nor the man being stripped of his clothes.

This link further explains the video that is at the top of this page. An excerpt:

The summer of 2011 had started quietly enough, with no hint that knockout assaults would be a problem in the fall.

This was a surprise. In April, four teens had attacked a 72-year-old Vietnamese immigrant and his wife as they walked home from a market in Dutchtown. Hoang Nguyen died. His wife was hurt. An 18-year-old man, who allegedly told police he just wanted to knock someone out, was charged with first-degree murder.

“Knockout game” became the crime’s coarse moniker. But it didn’t feel like the start of something new. No one saw it as the sign of a wave of random assaults. After all, violent crime rates were falling across the city.

Then, in late August, several bicyclists were jumped in the Shaw neighborhood. In September, a group of teens pummeled a 59-year-old man as he walked near Grand and Gravois Road. Police rounded up the Knockout King and the other teens. But the pedestrian said he never got a good look at his attackers.

If you read the report in full you will note that they never mention the race of the perpetrators. I wonder why?

I also wonder if Trayvon Martin was playing the knock out game with George Zimmerman on the night of Trayvon’s death? If he was I think he lost the game after getting in a few good punches.

In any case I fear we are in for a long hot summer. Be very careful out there. And as one commenter to another post said, “Never go into a neighborhood where you don’t blend in with the crowd.” Because I think we are going to have, as Eric puts it, An Outbreak Of Feral Children.

I have found an even better description of the “Game”.

The rules of the game are as simple as they are brutal. A group — usually young men or even boys as young as 12, and teenage girls in some cases — chooses a lead attacker, then seeks out a victim. Unlike typical gang violence or other street crime, the goal is not revenge, nor is it robbery. The victim is chosen at random, often a person unlikely to put up a fight. Many of the victims have been elderly. Most were alone.

The attacker charges at the victim and begins punching. If the victim goes down, the group usually scatters. If not, others join in, punching and kicking the person, often until he or she is unconscious or at least badly hurt. Sometimes the attacks are captured on cellphone video that is posted on websites.

As Conway193 suggests in the comments, “Can we bring back flogging?”

The Internet routes around censorship. Too bad YouTube.

The video is available again on YouTube. It is unlisted. You must already have the link .

Nauseating; those vicious punks should be publicly flogged as punishment for their crimes.

I ran across this quote from Charles Mackay at zerohedge quoted in a different context.

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.

Why is it that on every site I encounter these days, that everyone posting is in the market? I thought I was the lone trader.

Oh well, synchronicity, I wager, though I do remain steadfast in my belief that hard commodities, which is the majority of my portfolio, will go to the moon.

Derb was right – situational awareness should go into overdrive when in the wrong neighborhood.

That is disgusting. I fear it is about to get ugly. And if they decide not to have enough evidence to try Zimmerman, GOD HELP US ALL, cause the ones screaming “skreet justice” will take it out on whoever they can, likely those who can’t take up for themselves to start with. Then maybe they’ll get to those of us who can, and it’s gonna be the fuck “ON”.

glad i could help, its truly past the time where it needs to be accounted for, the black on white crime in this country is way over the line, also google the wichita horror, or the murders of channon christian and christopher newsom if you want to see what this type of “game” will ultimately lead to

At the risk of thoroughly pissing off Eric by encouraging you, your site, Conway193, is, ah, interesting. It reminds me a little of a great scene in Sidney Lumet’s The Morning After:

Turner Kendall (Jeff Bridges): How can I be a bigot? I mean they’re all full of ill will and malice. I just make observations.
Alex Sternbergen (Jane Fonda): Like “spade,” “beaner,” and “spic”?
Turner Kendall: That sounds like a law firm. Spade, Beaner, & Spic
Turner Kendall: Spades, uh, they spend disproportionately on their transportation – also in dressing their young.
Alex Sternbergen: What are you, the Klan anthropologist?

Pushing the black victim of white racist crime narrative doesn’t work so well these days because it fits neither the overall statistics nor what most people experience. It partakes of Dog Bites Man.

A further reason why pushing the black victim of white racist crime narrative doesn’t work so well these days is that because of the Internet, it is very easy to construct countering narratives. This article is evidence.

Fortunately,in the 3 years I lived in a black/hispanic neighborhood I never saw things like the Knock Out Game. I never feared for my safety. The house we rented had bars, which was a good idea. One thing that helped was that we had a friendly terrier who loved to chase balls and sticks that the neighbor kids threw.

Conway193, the quote from Morning After wasn’t meant to imply bigotry. I get what what you’re doing. The human race needs shock therapy, not just some of those arbitrarily defined parts of it we parcel off by skin color or religious affiliation. Your no-bullshit March 28 piece was refreshing.

“At the risk of thoroughly pissing off Eric by encouraging you”

The only way I would be pissed off would be if some idiot comes along and attributed such “encouragement” to me. If people say that black people are stupid and violent, or use the n-word, they are within their First Amendment rights, but if I didn’t say those things, they cannot be attributed to me. While I might disagree, I have no duty to do so. What I really resent is being called upon to have to explain for the umpteenth time that words and thoughts uttered by other people are not mine.

That I am not responsible for the opinions or remarks of other people is so simple a concept that it ought to be self obvious. For some reason, it is not, and I am very tired of people thinking I am in any way responsible for what is said here unless I said it.

If this is blacks vs. non-blacks the obvious solution is to have more non-blacks in low-income neighborhoods to outnumber the blacks. This can be most easily done by opening the borders.

In other words, as is commonly the case, statists have identified a real problem and the solution is to do the exact opposite of everything they recommend.

The only weird thing is that this time it’s right-wing statists.
