Repubs need a better counter argument than “it’s class warfare”. They need to explain that more people at all economic starting points do better when there is a single, flat, low income tax rate. They also need to explain that although there is an important role for government spending, that role is not unlimited, and it does not include things like paying poor people not to work, or wealthy people for needless esrvices, like rich farmers growing corn.
But the repobs won’t say this, because they have supporters who have purchased special tax breaks or subsidies. What a shame.
