“beauty is pain”

That’s what the article says.

And to prove their point, they have a painful picture.

Assuming that they’re both female, the image is enough to turn many a gay man straight, which is a pretty painful idea in itself.  Is it gay, though? I don’t honestly know. If it is, then what are the consequences for straight men who are turned on by gay pictures?

Certainly it is not pornographic by any legal standard that I know of.

So it isn’t immoral. Just wholesome, painful fun. So it is probably gay in more than one sense of the word.

(Lately I seem to be going out of my way to avoid discussing the important issues of the day. Yes, I really should be more ashamed of myself.)

I guess it’s technically gay by implying two lesbians. And you’re right–the only thing better than a hot chick is two hot chicks, and if that makes me gay I must be very gay.

But it’s probably aimed at more than one audience.

Most straight men are turned on by two women. Well, two reasonably cute women.

I’m showing my age, though, those clothes look as painful as chain mail bikinis.

(Okay, those aren’t painful if you shave completely, never move and under no circumstances go near sunlight OR a hot lamp. What? Chainmail bikinis used to be sold at every sf con. We were ALL young once. Live with it.)

So, my reaction was “Oh, those poor young women.” I have a bad suspicion I’m going to be someone’s fluffy grandmother, eventually.
