Is there any way to stop the Gingrich machine?

Cain 26%, Romney 23%, Gingrich 14%

What can I say?

For many months I have been doing my damnedest to sound the alarm about Gingrich, but obviously a blog like this is not the place to avert an impending train wreck.

Your problem is you still have hope.

Once you abandon all hope you can appreciate exactly how hilarious things are.

Concentrate on Joe Biden as VP so you don’t think about Chicago machine politics ruling our nation (A business associate of Corzine is investigating his bankrupt business for instance), or Obama and co. trying to make nice with the Taliban as they blow up our people, or Obama attacking Israel for not wanting to get blowed up, or Republicans, including Ron Paul, talking about raising taxes instead of reducing gov’t to the austere days of 2003(http://simpson.house.gov/News/DocumentSingle.aspx?DocumentID=267262), or Feinstein saying Fast and Furious is a reason to take my guns away, or EUnuchstan getting ready to explode and probably getting close to doing what Europeans do best (go on a killing spree), or watching the Arab Spring turning into Islamic nutjob winter or even Newt being the next POTUS.
All those things, except for Newt, have happened in the last week alone.

Newt is only one possible future and if you go back 4 years you can think about the trillions of dollars being thrown away, Fast and Furious where the gov’t aided the illegal sale of weapons to Mexican cartels as they screeched about American guns going to Mexican cartels and how they needed to take my guns to stop it, Acorn not going away, just changing names and still getting billions while “saving” hundreds of millions on our space program where we need to count on crappy Russian rockets to get to the ISS, or mission creep where all the supposedly anti-terrorist things, like the Patriot act and the TSA, are used to hassle everybody (except the powerful)or… too many outrages to really keep track of all of them.

We’re so boned, adding Newt to the mix would only be a net gain in entertainment value as we would be seeing Minitrue go freaking crazy over that.
The only worse person, for our media betters, would be Dick Cheney.

Meant to add in, “Or get some entertainment as you watch Minitrue and our governmental betters act as if the Owwies are a serious movement with totally non-incoherent goals that is a good thing for our country.”

Those are the people I would support over Obama. While not the perfect choice for President, they are vastly preferable. The rest? I’d abstain rather than support them. Under no circumstances would I vote for Barack.

Gingrich has his flaws, that is true, but better a flawed former Speaker of the House than our current President.

C’mon. Newt would not be so bad. I mean just because he is amoral, egotistical, venal and a bastard; you should not hold that against him. I mean, compare him to Ob…Oh, never mind.
