This band is good. Especially the electric violin. So much so that I grabbed my Marine Band C and started wailing. There is absolutely nothing like a harp and an electric violin together. If you play either instrument find your counterpart and give it a try.
Let me add that I first heard Bob Dylan do this version (Hendrix) live in ’74 or ’75 in St. Louis, Mo. My friend Mike Mitchell took me and some other friends.
Oh. Yeah. TURN IT UP

The first time I ever played with an electric violinist was in ’69 in a house not far from Whitethorn, California. Backwoods. It was a marvelous night. I was hooked.
Trouble is that electric violinists are hard to find. I did practice for a few months with a guy in Chicago.
Recently I saw some street musicians with a female violinist. I asked her if she had an electric violin and if she ever played that with a harpist (harmonica player). Yes to the first. No to the second. She said she would try it. Maybe I made a convert.
