The good news just keeps coming! I just learned that figure skater Johnny Weir (whose past refusal to follow the cultural diktats of Gay Inc. I admired) has issued a fashion fatwa at Washington politicians.

…He suggested that Washington kick off its flats. “I love a woman in a heel, and a gentleman in a heel,” said Weir, who came out in January with the release of his book, “Welcome to My World.”

He praised Michelle Obama, but wanted to see more. “I want to see that woman’s body, I want to see what’s going on underneath all that,” he said. “I want to see some crazy tight Valentino mermaid dress.”

Weir also bemoaned the style of the District’s dudes. “I don’t think you’ll ever find me a boy that will make me impressed with his wardrobe who’s in politics,” Weir stated, then recommended some French designers for the president. “I think Obama, because he’s tall and he’s lean, I think he would be great in Dior, Givenchy.”

If only the president would take Weir’s advice….
