Yep. Palin can’t run for President according to the professionals.
“The field isn’t set yet, not by a long shot,” Palin said during a visit to Gettsyburg, Pa. “It’s going to change up a lot. And I think there will be more strong candidates jumping in.”
Will Palin be one of them? The political professionals who cite her utter lack of a campaign organization still say no, and they’re probably right.
Palin has a very effective campaign organization that created a “miracle” in Nov 2010. The largest turn over of political alignment for 50 or 80 years from Federal to State to local. The name of the campaign organization?

That’s only if she plays by their rules. Their archaic, stodgy, ‘Give yourself to the media heart and soul and hope they don’t savage your message too badly’ rules… that’ve really been working well for them…
The thing is, I think a lot of people didn’t realize just how tight and structured those rules were until the 2008 election, and they took it upon themselves to change things in 2010.
And they succeeded.
The rules are changing. The media no longer has the control it did. I’m sure you recall the old opening to the ‘Outer Limits’ – ‘We will control all that you see and hear’ sound familiar?
They no longer do… for good or ill, they’re no longer in control.
