We can only hope that McCain’s charges that Obama wants to raise taxes are accurate. Sooner or later you have to pay for what you get or suffer the consequences. In our case the consequences include a rapidly sinking dollar and growing interest payments as part of our national budget. Notice that anti-tax McCain has offered no solution for zeroing out the annual deficit and beginning payments on the debt.
The dollar is now rising rapidly. I just wrote about it. You need to keep up.
We can grow our way out of the debt problem if we could restrain Congress. Which has been McCain’s centerpiece for years.
BTW our debt to GDP ratio is in the lower middle of the developed countries.
