How Many States?

Assume you have 6 coins and flip them randomly (and landing on an edge doesn’t count). How may possible states are there if each coin is identifiable? That would be 64 States. I don’t think that a similar question is what the gentleman in the video has in mind.

Notice that he really has to think about the answer. You have to wonder where he got his education. Newly minted citizens do better. He probably stayed up late because of some 3 AM call. Probably another adviser screwing up the narrative. This guy is going to be a disaster as a President. If he ever gets that far.

I would expect that kind of mistake from Teresa Heinz Kerry.

I can understand why America forgets the Seven States, although DRJ at Patterico’s is arguing for the full 60…
Who can forget the State of Tension? Or the State of Poverty? Easily enough once the State of Deception was entered into the Union and explains much in the way of missing stars and coins.
After that the States of Confusion, Decay, Denial and Chaos really are missed by the populace as a whole. But if DRJ is right, then there are yet *more* States than just those in the Union!

Well, we’ve got the fifty states, plus there is also Guam, Puerto Rico, The District of Columbia, Florida and Oregon have thought about splitting up. So I could see where the mistake could happen, unless he needs 57 states to win in November.
I’m just surprised he didn’t scream 19 at the top of his lungs.

The narrative is almost writing itself. Flag pin, really proud of being an american, 57 states?!? (I don’t care how tired he was.)
Obama wants to be leader of a country he doesn’t much care for or think much about. Americans aren’t going to give him the job.
