Caught this via Drudge:
“He’s a Republican, I’m a Democrat, we work together on issues that are important to the state of Nevada. And I wish other people had the same nonaggression pact we have,” Reid told reporters. “It’s not a ‘Brokeback Mountain’ situation,” he added, referring to last year’s film about two gay cowboy lovers.
It’s good to be a Democrat.

Dennis, isn’t there a general rule that if a politician denies something, it’s true?
And what no one seems to be reporting is why there is any need to deny a “Brokeback Mountain” um, “situation.”
Might there be some sort of Republican retaliatory outing of which we’re not aware?
And why the strange silence from Andrew Sullivan?
