Go ahead! Sketch me to death!

Crazy as things are right now in the blogosphere, I have debated the propriety of posting my usual Friday Online Tests.
I decided to go ahead, because this is a weekly tradition at Classical Values, and for all I know, some of the new readers might need a little harmless relief as much as I.
So….. On to the first test.
“What childhood toy from the 80s are you?” seemed a harmless enough test, and while my result is a bit “sketchy,” I think it’s a fair representation of my personality:
etchasketch
You’re an Etch-a-Sketch!! You’re the creative,
artsy type who doesn’t need to actually utilize
a single muscle group in order to have fun.
Doesn’t matter though, you’re still cool.

Only I don’t know how an Etch-A-Sketch can be used as a murder weapon! The next test — “How would you Murder?” shows my powerlessness, and offers to help me:
pummel
Weapons are not your thing. You would prefer to
pummel your opponent to death with your fists
and feet. You show a lot of Honor but some
power still eludes you. I can give you this
power, I can make you stronger, join me.

Well, there’s no question that power eludes me, but then again, because I do not seek power I must question the underlying assumptions of the test.
But the last one for today — “Which UNDERWORLD character are you?” — offers me a different kind of power. Power beyond my wildest dreams.
Once again, I am a vampire:
Selene
SELENE: You are selene!
Beautiful, vivacious,
fierce and seductive, Selene vowed she would
destroy Lycans after her family was murdered by
the werewolves. So ruthless is she that selene
is a member of the Death Dealers. This elite
Vampire warrior class’s mission is to make the
Lycans extinct.
Ever wish you could be a
vampire?

How did they know that my family was murdered by werewolves? This is starting to get personal, and I must protest!
Also, I don’t want to be a girl vampire!

So, such begs the question, do you suck their blood before or after you pummel them to death with your Etch-a-Sketch™?

PS. – please note the change to my URL, as I am not a munuvian, and I changed the name of the blog to Read My Lips

I am glad you’re back! I still have both your links blogrolled; one’s the old one and the other’s “Read My Lips.” But I still show http://tig.mu.nu/ as your only blog address. Isn’t that munuvian or am I missing something?
As to the Etch-A-Sketch, once I am finished my dastardly deeds, I need only turn the thing upside down and give it a shake.
    All evidence is gone!

Etch-A-Sketch. I love my Etch-A-Sketch. I had one when I was a boy (in the early 1960s) and, remembering that, I went out and bought another one for myself. That was during the early 1980s that I did that.
Later, in the late 1990s, when I got and read J. A. Laponce’s “Left and Right: The Topography of Political Perceptions” (what a joy that was!), I was playing with my Etch-A-Sketch, and I noticed that on the back it said: To control the HORIZONTAL, turn the LEFT dial. To control the VERTICAL, turn the RIGHT dial.
That’s exactly what Laponce had concluded from his cross-cultural studies! The Left is the horizontal (secularism, equality) and the Right is the vertical (the sacred, hierarchies).
Laponce’s book and the Etch-A-Sketch: coincidence?, conspiracy?, or…. ….the Divine order? Hmmmm…. Most fascinating!, spectrumologically.

Steven, I never thought of the political implications of my Etch-A-Sketch. Talk about adjusting the spectrum!
    Wonderful!
