Donald Trump On Marijuana

About 1 minute

The rally pictured was held on 29 October 2015 in Reno/Sparks, Nevada. With all the Prohibitionists he has been nominating ( Jeff Sessions and Tom Price among them ), it is good to know that Peter Thiel is one of his closest advisors.

And just so you get the right idea about Peter: Peter Thiel Rides Another Trend, Investing in Marijuana and Bob Marley’s Legacy.

Here is Peter at the RNC:

I keep telling ya. The GOP isn’t going to stand in the way of reform. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump personally expresses his support for reform. Time will only tell.

And Donald can read a poll. Nationwide support for reform is at an all time high, pardon the pun. He’s got loftier goals and needs support from all quarters, so he’s not going to go against that wave.

He’s reclaiming the political center for the GOP as a socially tolerant and fiscally responsible party. IMO anyway.

Oh do stop. Trump is a populist – that means he goes for what “the people” want. And he’s made it pretty clear that he can actually change his mind.

And we made it pretty clear, nationwide, that people getting jail time for one toke over the line was NOT what we want.

Kathy Kinsley: There’s nothing populist about the huge tax cut he is about to give the rich and super rich. Standard Republican stuff, blowing up the budget deficit like Reagan and Bush II did.

    newageblues,

America is at a competitive disadvantage with a corporate tax of 35%.

Corporations don’t pay taxes. Those who buy their products pay the taxes.

Taxes past about 20% don’t work in any case. Once the rate is above that people spend considerable effort avoiding the tax. That effort is unproductive.

Simon: Republicans predicted disaster after Clinton pushed thru a tax increase in 1993 to deal with the deficits Reagan and Bush I had left us. They couldn’t have been more wrong. Doesn’t that contradict your argument?
