Imagine: He echoes Sanders’ talk on trade while amplifying the idea that Sanders’ supporters are being cheated by a “rigged” process, paving a road for Sanders’ fanatics that leads directly into the Trump camp. In Indiana, 30 percent of Sanders voters said they wouldn’t support Hillary Clinton if she were the nominee. If Trump can take even half of them in Indiana and beyond, that’s a major advance.

Trump might get a few more of Bernie’s supporters by going for Federal Cannabis Legalization 100%. He already is 100% for Medical Cannabis. Trump once said legalizing drugs is the only way to win the war. That would be the War On Drugs. And even Republicans expect cannabis to be legal one day.

So Trump changing his position to attract Bernie supporters will not hurt him much with people that already support him.
