Stabbed By The Press

Yahoo News reports:

HEBRON, West Bank (AP) — A Palestinian wearing a T-shirt with the word “press” in large letters stabbed and wounded an Israeli soldier Friday before being shot dead by troops, the latest in a monthlong spate of attacks.

Now why would some one want to do that? We find out later on in the article:

The incident heightened concerns among journalists about their safety. The Foreign Press Association for Israel and the Palestinian territories said it “marks a worrying development” that demands all media operate with greater caution.

“We utterly deplore this violation of press privilege and call on local Palestinian media organizations to immediately verify all media credentials,” the FPA said in a statement.

The attacker’s name has not been released, but local journalists said they did not know him.

So the idea is: maybe the next time “PRESS” is seen they will be real press and get man handled or worse by the Israelis giving the Israelis a bad name. And bad press. In other words they would be stabbed by the press. Wouldn’t be the last time.

    No.

This terrorist wasn’t “disguised” as a journalist.

    He is a journalist.

More specifically, he’s a “stringer” that these news organizations hire, and it’s no secret that many of them are sympathetic to the Muslim terrorists, especially the Palestinians. Add that to the fact that the cameraman captures the precise moment of the attack, and the evidence is conclusive: this was done in cooperation with the attack with the vest and press tags being prima facie evidence. I wouldn’t be surprised if the cameraman or his producer provided the vest themselves.

The article is merely camouflage to try and deflect attention away from that and prop up the idea that the real “victim” in this are journalists.

He’s a dead stringer now, and good riddance.

Anyone who has spent more than five minutes reading reports from the middle east knows that the world’s press is part of the problem. They’ve now taken to direct action instead of just writing lies. Big deal, it was bound to come sooner or later.

Israel should protect members of the press in exactly the same way that the press recommends that Israelis protect Israelis.

Why do the Arabs hate the Palestinians so as to keep them in camps? See: Jordan, Lebanon, Gaza.

In captain*arizona’s defense, how many of the press on CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, NPR, etc. would you describe as “phony”? 😉

    All. Next question.

Although, big difference between phony, not really a reporter as much as a leftist activist, and phony, not really a reporter, just a murderous thug disguised as one.

I am so glad that this attempted murder is being called a “violation of press privilege.”

    That’ll show ’em!

It’s not like Jewish deaths matter. Now, if it turned out Palestinians were kicking puppies, or some other sort of similar atrocity it might merit the world’s concern.

Remember kids, one death is a tragedy, a million dead is a statistic, and a dead Jew isn’t anything.
