The Goverment Over Reach Has Overreached

The story that Eric and I have been following has reached the lower rungs of the MSM. NPR.

The article? More of the same. The comments? Solid gold.

One commenter:

There ought to be a law against prosecutors that try to extend a charge where it most obviously doesn’t apply.

Another replies:

Ha Ha Ha Ha, oh goodness that’s what get prosecutors out of bed everyday.

There is more. Like this tasty little gem.

Nice job Feds, way to prove to your biggest critics that you’re everything they ever said you were!

A word to the government: never get into an argument with people who move electrons by the mega ton.

If you look at the video of the black girl in texas its as if the white kids were invisible to cops as the person with the cell phone camera actually said! The police go around the white teenagers to chase the black teenagers. The only exception is when a white teenager joins a black teenager to aid the black girl so the cop pulls out his gun. This is called white privilege! Mercy and forgiveness for white people with power and law and order for blacks! I f you don’t shoot a black 12 year old child playing with a toy gun how else is he going to learn he is not a white child!

You know, sometimes I wonder whether the tort system might eventually be a blessing in disguise. Suppose Reason were to file a major suit against the federal government and win. I’d love to see Reason own the federal government as a result of a verdict from an out-of-control jury.

    Eric,

That is a novel thought. Although some judge would probably reduce the verdict.
