The kids are getting arrested.
Nearly half of black males and almost 40 percent of white males in the U.S. are arrested by age 23, which can hurt their ability to find work, go to school and participate fully in their communities.
My guess is that the vast majority of these arrests is for prohibition crimes. Unfortunately the link does not say much about what the kids are being arrested for.
I was looking for some stats and came across this story.
“On Snell Isle, I guarantee you you will not have white kids standing on the corner selling drugs. They will get paged and they will tell you where to meet someone. He may be selling drugs on Snell Isle, but he is doing it, I hate to say it, in a better way.”
Enforcement efforts should fall equally in all parts of town, said Kurt Donley, chairman of the St. Petersburg NAACP’s criminal justice committee.
“If you hang out near a white, affluent high school and see two males in a car and pull it over, you are going to get plenty of drugs,” said Donley, who is white. “You have Eckerd College named by the Princeton Review as one of the top five pot-friendly colleges in the country. Nobody is going in there arresting wealthy white kids.
“If all you do is fish in a black pond, you are going to get black fish.”
It looks like they are fishing in more white ponds lately. With all the background checks required for jobs these days all those kid arrests will be producing a two tier society. And it is very likely that those arrests will lead to unrest.
Have we had enough of the police state yet?

Simon, You of all people should realize that “regular” employment is a thing of the past, Speaking to your Fusion research side here. My Son and his friends are all Contractors and business people, and He/they are all of 23-23 yrs old, some doing better than others, but they aren’t waiting for some HR head to tell them they failed a pot test,they are getting there own. I’m 51 and a Smoker of herb, and my business is doing fine, and believe me, my entire Staff would fail a pot test, Cheers! there is lot’s of Hope!

Drug testing for employment lowers productivity 16%. Random testing lowers it by 29%.
This was nixons southern strategy war on drugs to stop black men from being able to vote ;however a lot of pro republican racists rd necks have now also lost their right to vote so its not as much of a deterrent today.
