Bill Quick often picks up on pieces I write. So I thought I’d return the favor.
Aw. Those Damned Libertarians Wouldn’t Eat Our Tasty Shit Sandwiches.
Generally the GOP offers its Libertarian wing nothing. This year they offered up a Prohibitionist who was also not a fiscal conservative. Less than nothing. The Libertarians got a million votes for the first time in several decades.
Bill Quick says Libertarian coattails also cost Republicans some down ticket races. After all if social conservatives pick candidates and vote based on conscience (rather than attracting voters) should that operational attitude be denied Libertarians?
The thinking in the Republican Party often runs to “who else are they going to vote for?” I guess they found out.

Been eating them for years, and hating every bite. You’d think the GOP would be grateful. Instead, they act like their shit not only doesn’t stink, but it’s good for me. I have trouble selling a bad product.
