This repost of a segment from another post was prompted by Eric’s Quadrupling the death rate?, where the State of Georgia is proposing to criminalize miscarriages. Only some miscarriages of course. I wonder if I can apply to become a crime scene investigator? Or maybe a vendor of pregnancy test kits? Women will need to be tested at least weekly to make sure no one violates the law. Was going to post a diatribe until I noticed the succinct comment from notaclue (a misnomer if ever there was one) above, which says everything I would have said in far fewer words.

I’m glad I didn’t say “quadrupling the murder rate,” because the criminalization of miscarriages would do far more than that.
