I can’t post at my other blog Power and Control – http://powerandcontrol.blogspot.com/ because Blogspot has been down (for posting) for about a day now. Funny thing is if you Google blogspot news or blogspot crash there is no information on the subject.
After a bit more searching I found BLOGSPOT HAS JUST CRASHED. Is It FINISHED? which is just a squib.
Of course there is an official Blogger announcement (not posted on Blogspot to be sure).

Wow. I only hope it’s temporary.
My experience is they delete blogs that have screwed up pointers, in order to clear up most of an ongoing mess in an emergency.
That is, they’re not concerned with collateral damage.
If they delete your blog, you have to contact them to get it to reappear at some later date. Otherwise it’s gone.

Althouse is not, a second data point in the collateral damage ignored hypothesis.
Althouse is back, minus about 28k posts. She’s an idiot for staying. Oh gee, she doesn’t have to worry about an Instalanche. WOW. Haven’t seen you lot worrying about it either (and, I suspect I know who your host is, considering who moved you to WP). Gee, they are SO TERRIBLY expensive… lol. (Probably the best blog hosts on the net.) And, before Insty went to PJ, they hosted him.
