DON’T YOU HATE CAPS LOCK

mOST OF THE TIMES YOU HIT IT YOU WERE ACTUALLY AIMING FOR “A”, AND WHEN YOU SEE EVERYTHING YOU TYPED IN CAPS IT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU’RE SOME IDIOT WHO IS YELLING FOR NO APPARENT REASON.
Fortunately, someone has come up with a handy, easy-to-inplement fix, which I searched out the other day in exasperation after accidentally hitting CAPS for the umpteenth time on the laptop they gave me at a new job. The registry edits at the link can either turn it into a shift key or just disable it altogether. No more capital punishment for me!

I have always used a slightly lower tech fix. Every keyboard I use has the Caps Lock key removed from it and stuck in a drawer.

I’ve had my Caps Lock key disabled since the second day that I got this laptop. I never had a problem with my desktop keyboard, as the individual keys were better defined and “taller” with more space between the tops of the keys. I can’t type well on the relatively flat laptop keyboards. Disable all the way.
