Texas Style

These folks are not native Hebrew speakers. They don’t do the hard “ch” right. Still. I loved it! Klezmer style – Mickey Katz would be proud. (check out “Kiss of Meyer” a Yiddish classic I loved as a kid)
Here are some Chinese who do the hard “ch” (Ashkenazi pronunciation) better. Funny. They don’t look Jewish.
Here is a jazzed up version (Klezmer style, Sephardic pronunciation) by a native Hebrew speaker.

An important note: she is playing a B flat clarinet. In a Klezmer band it would be an A.
(BTW–nice posting recently on Polywell “over there.)

Truly, rich white men and Jews know all the tricks. At 1:30 you can clearly see Pastor John Hagee clapping.
Among black people! In an apparently sinful manner:
For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
    Job 34:37
But did he really clap his hands in violation of Scripture? It appears that he is holding something in his right hand, and thus is clapping using only his left hand, and thus evades a violation through trickery.
    And didn’t he endorse McCain?
God damn America, I say again!

Ummmm… aren’t Texans all racist xenophobic redneck haters? Pretty sure they all hate Jews and love to shoot them and run them over with their pickups.
Pretty sure. Better check the New Yorker. Because something’s just not right here.

    Steve,
    Liked the tongue in cheek.
That said – I grew up in the South until age 5 or so and my Jewishness was never an issue with the upper classes. I was invited to a very upper class hot dog party at the end of my kindergarten (it was a private school for the upper classes). This was in the Jim Crow era.
The bigotry I did encounter was from the lower classes.
