I have been doing some electronic design work over the last few days in support of amateur fusion efforts. My focus was on how to make low cost High Voltage power supplies. Oh, sure. It starts out innocently enough. Just some wonky citizen zap-o-phile arcing electron streams to a basketball hoop and a ladder. But in time, the implications become more sinister. Then, before you know it, the machines have taken over and are sending cybernetic organisms back in time to terminate the ancestors of their enemies.
