the flaw (not fatal) is the lefts ability to deal with the deep state corporate establishment co-opting the democratic party. since 2016 election that is now changing people like bernie sanders and aoc who call themselves democratic soc. are really new deal populist democrats as clinton wing of party moved to the right. capitalism in its present form does to much for rich and not enough for poor and working class. aoc and sanders want medicare for all not nationalizing gm or apple. most conservatives are to ignorant to understand this or like this peteresen paid $$$ by conservatives to set up false premises. if you disagree name one corporation aoc or sanders want to nationalize. if you say social security or medicare is soc. then the majority of americans will say and have voted that they are that kind of soc. and will get rid of libertarian capitalists before they get rid of those programs. capitalism in america has done rather well for the rich in the lat 80 years with social security and medicare in place and did better when the rich subsidized higher education 1950s/1970s before student loans to give tax breaks to the rich. your form of capitalism is falling to leftist populism not soc.
