All a recount can do is possibly detect errors/fraud in counting.
The real election fraud is in the voter rolls. A recount will do nothing about that. Nor can a count detect it. Unless there are more votes than voters.

The Left doesn’t do democracy very well, do they.
“Grandpa voted Republican all his life. Then he died and began voting Democrat.”
The recount gives them time to “discover” enough previously uncounted ballots.
A recount could – possibly – keep the state from sending electors at the date mandated by the constitution.
Which COULD result in lots of nastiness. I don’t think it will happen; I think Jill just wants some money. But, as Insty used to say in ages past: “don’t get cocky”.
As Stalin said, it isn’t who votes, it’s who counts the votes. Or for whom the chad dangles.
