I was having a discussion with a guy who held up Reagan as the model of a principled conservative. He mentioned the House Liberty Caucus obliquely. Well I had a few words for him.

Reagan amping up Drug Prohibition is limited government? And his importing cocaine to support the Contras? Well that fits right in with his amping up Prohibition – if he was a crook.
I admit the Liberty caucus is better on that issue. (and it is about 49 members in the House) But still.
If you go by the numbers about 75% of the House Republicans are Communist-lite.
So if you go by the numbers the Republicans are only 75% bad. Why not destroy the Party? It deserves it.
You are now at a decision point or will be soon. Support Trump or say hello to Madam President. And I mean Madam President in the unkindest way.
BTW your “Constitutional” candidate couldn’t figure out that the Feds have no authority to institute Drug Prohibition. He never once mentioned the missing Drug Prohibition Amendment. In fact no Republican in Federal elected office has mentioned it. I wonder why?

Drug Prohibition is a $trillion a year slush fund for the NWO. Why is there no concerted effort on the part of the anti-NWO folks to tear down that pillar of their edifice?
I’ll believe the anti-NWO folks are serious when they go after Drug Prohibition.
BTW – Bush drugs boodle boys skull and bones – is an interesting search. Try it.

What if –
In Reagan’s time much of the world heroin trade went through, or was managed by the red Chinese. As a dedicated cold warrior Reagan saw shutting down the heroin trade as one more battle. That marijuana prohibition was included probably didn’t seem like such a big deal, and besides DARE and the rest of that crap keeps Nancy happy. What was he supposed to do, anyway? Out of all the issues he had available why that one?
In Reagan’s time the Heroin trade was run by the CIA. Before that it was run by the Brits. I could give you plenty of links and long reads. But the history is nicely encapsulated here:

Why that one? Because it is a $trillion a year NWO slush fund.
I was overseas all the time Reagan was in office, and all I can say is that virtually every “news” outlet in Australia was 100% anti-Reagan, 100% of the time, except in one area.
So it’s hard for me to sift out fact from fiction; e.g. the whole Iran-Contra thing is mystifying to me, and I don’t much care to study it & find out whatever may be the truth.
I do remember that President Reagan, along with the NRA, put their support behind the 1993 Brady Bill and the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban. This was a tremendous blow to the 2nd Amendment here, and these facts were used in Australia as propaganda to help justify Australia’s comprehensive gun ban in 1996. (Australia has no Bill of Rights.)
So I have very mixed feelings about President Reagan; I do see similarities with Donald Trump though, they both have all the right enemies!
