According to the IDF’s official blog, the manual proves that Hamas is cognizant of the fact that Israel works diligently to minimize civilian casualties and that the terror group “exploits these efforts by using civilians as human shields against advancing IDF forces.”
The manual, said to belong to the Shuja’iya Brigade of Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, apparently acknowledges Israel’s efforts to do as little harm as possible while also noting how concentrated civilian populations — referred to as “pockets of resistance” — make this task immensely difficult for the IDF.
And then there was this: Journalists threatened by Hamas for reporting use of human shields.
Reporters from Italy and the US corroborated the IDF’s explanation for explosions near the Shifa Hospital in Gaza City and by a playground in the nearby Shati refugee camp on Tuesday – that it was the result of misfired rockets by Gazan terrorists.
One altered his report, however and another waited to leave Gaza, because he feared retribution from Hamas. Italian journalist Gabriele Barbati tweeted a photo on Tuesday as he went through the Erez crossing into Israel.
Using human shields is a war crime.

It began with a mysterious tent with a blue canopy that bobbed up yesterday (August 4) at 6:30 am in an open patch of land next to our window. We saw three men making a multitude of journeys in and out of the tent, sometimes with wires.
An hour later, they emerged, dismantled the tent, changed their clothes and walked away.
The next morning – today – we woke to news of the 72-hour ceasefire but just before it was to take effect, the rocket next to our hotel was fired. There was a loud explosion and a whooshing sound. The cloud of smoke that rose was captured by our cameraperson.
This report is being aired on NDTV and published on ndtv.com after our team left the Gaza strip – Hamas has not taken very kindly to any reporting of its rockets being fired. But just as we reported the devastating consequences of Israel’s offensive on Gaza’s civilians, it is equally important to report on how Hamas places those very civilians at risk by firing rockets deep from the heart of civilian zones.

Get a new stick! I have already come up with paying egypt to occupy gaza to stop the killing. Try something new!
Well, If you can believe the news Israel supporters include, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Palestinian Authority.
Why should Israel take casualties? There is nothing Harm Us has that they want. Remember the place was given back to the people who live there quite some time ago. Evidently they wanted to turn it into a siege engine. Doesn’t look like a real good idea today.
The Palestinians have been up to this sort of stuff for a long, long, time. Playing the news media the way they do is unfortunately a remarkably effective strategy.

If someone were to somehow convince Egypt to occupy Gaza, within a year there would be no Palestinians left in Gaza, unless they were six feet underground.
