It has snowed so much here in Ann Arbor that the city has run out of school snow days, and everyone is running out of places to put the snow. I have shoveled the sidewalk and excavated my driveway more times than I can count, and each time, the mounds on all sides get higher, to the point where they are mini mountains of snow. When I back out of my driveway, I have trouble seeing anything because I am in something like a cattle chute of snow. And it’s only the beginning of February. I’ve been in Ann Arbor for over five years now, and this is by far the worst winter I have seen. Global warming, you know. They said it would be like this.
For her part, Coco is doing her best in the backyard.
She defies the snow!
And here is Coco the archaeologist, carefully excavating her latest tire. (She has destroyed the previous ones, leaving little bits of rubber for future archaeologists to ponder.)
And after that, it’s time for the old girl to rest.
Pretty spry for a nine year old, doncha think?
