Collectivism is obviously the answer. Ahem. Well, I had the following video, a sympathetic interview of Chris Hedges, suggested by YouTube. So I thought I’d post it to give some idea about how the collectivist are thinking. The “Individualism Danger” idea is presented at about 4:50 in. He does identify “the ineffectual liberal elite” so there is that. But in the end they want to solve the problem of government control by – this will shock you – government control. And they are looking for a viable form of socialism to do this. They might as well be looking for dry water where mermaids live.

Similar sentiments have been expressed by Hitler, Mussolini, Lenin and Stalin.
But the leftoids will call ME a fascist if I point this out to them.
Who was it who said “Everything for the state, everything within the state, nothing outside the state”?
Who was it who said “Everything for the state, everything within the state, nothing outside the state”?
A state machine designer?
Usual libertarian clap trap! How many of you “INDIVIDUALS” live in a cabin you built your self made the cloths you ware eat the food you grew? Same old B.S.! You want the police to protect you! Insted of this bull(smoking bad dope again?) Try to make the place you live in better like I do! My motto is help the people who need help(and they will let you know who they are!) and leave the rest of us alone(liberals don’t like this part of the equation!) That you can sell to people not this survival of the fitest bullcrap. And buy the way you libertarians are not the fitest! Look thru out history who finally survives the sorting out of the survival of the fitest and their CLASSICAL VALUES!
Mussolini of course.
Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer!
Hitler
And the original tricolon:
Veni, vidi, vinci.
Caesar
…when the night grows dark, when injustice weighs heavy on our hearts, when our best-laid plans seem beyond our reach…
tricolor from Barack Obama, December 10, 2013
An introspective thought perhaps?
crapaz,
You mean if I voluntarily cooperate with other people I can’t be a libertarian?
You mean I must cooperate at he point of a (government) gun?

Who was it who said “Everything for the state, everything within the state, nothing outside the state”
That would be Mussolini, of course.Which reminds us of Fidel Castro’s shopworn phrase:“Within the revolution everything, against the Revolution, nothing.” It is no accident, as Pravda would have once said, that Castro’s statement resembles one of Mussolini’s.
In Guerrilla Prince: The Untold Story of Fidel Castro Georgie Ann Geyer’s masterful biography of Fidel Castro, she points out that when Fidel was an adolescent he was an adherent of Fascism- not just Mussolini. For brevity’s sake, this quote is confined to Mussolini.
Once again, Fascism and Communism are shown to be similar, not diametrically opposed. Recall also that Mussolini began as a Marxist.
The myth that fascism is somehow “right wing” was invented by communists desperate to find a way to differentiate themselves from the Third Reich. Repeat after me:
Stalin gooood
Hitler baaaad
(if you’re of a new-leftish bent, substitute Mao or Fidel for Stalin)
In fact they are both developed forms of socialism, and about as different as coke and pepsi.
Collectivists all want the same things: power for themselves and death and misery for everyone else.
It was not libertarian Ideas that ended slavery or stoped hitler The first was by captain john brown of kansas(and my personel hero) and hitler was not stoped by danish non-violent civil disobediance ;but soviet tank armies! Afterward they explained classical values to the woman of germany! and unfortunetly the rest of eastern europe.
Collectivists all want the same things: power for themselves and death and misery for everyone else.
So true. It is interesting to see our Marxist-In-Chief test drone warfare in the Middle East, like Hitler tested the Luftwaffe in Spain before the start of WW2.
The California Department of Fish & Wildlife has aircraft equipped with highly sophisticated equipment for use by their Special Operations Unit:
The current SOU has taken many steps to enhance their investigative abilities with training in a wide variety of topics. Technology has moved to the forefront of many investigations with equipment such as GPS tracking units, infrared scopes, pen register phone taps, and much more.
The heat sensing IR scopes can find where you peed on the ground 15 minutes earlier, they are that sensitive.
Rumor has it that they have been expanding joint enforcement efforts beyond the DEA and local sheriff to include Homeland Security.
