What This Morning’s Obamacare Announcement Means.
Update:
“We fumbled the rollout on this health-care law.”
“I completely get how upsetting this can be for a lot of Americans.”
“It is a complex process.”
“I was not informed directly [How about indirectly?!] that the Web site would not be working. . . . I don’t think I’m stupid enough to go around saying this is going to be like shopping on Amazon or Travelocity, a week before the Web site opens, if I thought that it wasn’t going to work.”
“With respect to the pledge I made that if you like your plan you can keep it. . . that there is no doubt that the way I put that forward unequivocally ended up not being accurate.”
“The Affordable Care Act is not going to be the reason why insurers have to cancel your plans.”
“The federal government does a lot of things really well. One of those things it does not do well is information technology procurement.”
“In terms of what happens on Nov. 30th or Dec. 1st, I think it’s fair to say that the improvement will be marked and noticeable.”
“What we are also discovering is insurance is complicated to buy.”
“There is no doubt that our failure to roll out the ACA smoothly has put a burden on Democrats, whether they’re running or not.”
“There have been times where I thought we were … slapped around a little bit unjustly. This one’s deserved, all right?”
“These are two fumbles on something that — on a big game which — but the game’s not over.”

Medicare for all was the right thing to do and not this so called obama care which was a republican plan that was only denounced by them when obama agreed to it. This is the flaw of liberals(hopefully not fatal) they will do anything to do something! They should of held out for medicare for all! They could then arrest all republicans in congress for accsesory to murder when someone dies because they couldn’t get health insurance and arrest health insurance executives while they are at it! Give them a juruy of people who have been tuned down or droped from health insurance that would be a real jury of their peers! Anyway when Mrs Clinton gets in office in 2016 she will deal with them the way she delt with vince foster!
Detroit. Chicago will be joining Detroit soon.
Sorry captain, the Dems own this one all the way. There were no votes by any Repubs for the ACA in the Senate and very few in the House.
And Obama lied when he claims that the ACA is not responsible for the cancellation of more affordable policies. The ACA made it illegal for those policies to be sold.
If a private business’ CEO had perpetrated the fraud that Obama did with the ACA and his promise that if you liked your insurance you could keep it, he would be facing criminal charges for fraud.
What a lying sack of shit Obama turned out to be. The ACA is the biggest political fraud ever seen in this country.
I probably would have supported Medicare for all, so long as we can still buy private healthcare and private insurance.
That way, after the government destroys Medicare by forcing everybody into the system, we’ll have already developed an excellent parallel private system.
Today Detroit, tomorrow Chicago, next week Washington D.C.!
I work support Obamacare and the rest of the Welfare State if participation AND funding of it was purely voluntary.
democrats do own this but I don’t I demanded democrats hold out for medicade for all and if it failed simply arrest all those who voted against for murder in anyone dies for lack of insurance with a jury of family members of those who died simple enough! And by the way cons these wimp corperate democrats in congress and obama you want to discredit are trying to keep you out of the re-education camps and gulags the democratic voters would like to put you in! Remember 150,000 minority kids turn 18 every month every one hating republicans even more then I do! gop gerrymandering would be devastated in wave election and vote surpression makes people want to vote who you are trying to stop from voting! Voter apathy is your friend not minority voter anger!
