The people got what they wanted (oh, not you or me), but they voted for him. We’ll suffer for it, yes, but so will they. And, maybe they’ll learn.
the Mexican government has usurped the people’s right to self defense, but is hopelessly inadequate as a replacement. Claiming the unique right to use force, but being completely ineffectual at doing so is only the tiniest bit better than claiming no one (including the government) has the right to use force, and is worse or far worse than every other combination imaginable besides that.
