I think it’s kind of cool that a band I loved as a child is still going strong enough that they can crank out a decent tune. I refer to the Rolling Stones’ latest release, “Doom and Gloom.” Here’s the video (one of them, anyway):
Bear in mind that these are being pulled off Youtube right and left, so if it doesn’t work and you’re curious, just go to youtube.com and enter “doom and gloom.” (After all, I can’t be expected to update this post simply to supply “good” links soon to be taken down, can I?)
I think they’re doing pretty well after all these years. I only wish Bill Wyman were still playing bass. But at least he’s playing with metal detectors:

Re: Doom and Gloom.
Ouch. Ouch. OUCH.
Mick can still hit the vein. Ouch.
And yes, even if I’m a hag and he’s worse… yeah, I’d still dance with him. LOL
But, will he listen to his own soul? I doubt it. He and Bowie will be trying to be dancing in the streets for all eternity.
And I really hope we can let them….
As for Bill – good for him.
